Thursday, compete in a full day of Side Matches, including 3 lightning-speed events, 2 warm- up matches, and true Long Range. You can even take a practice run in our famous Ore Cart!

And new this year, our ingenious stage
writer has come up with two more Sensational Side Matches: The Cowboy Sharpshooter (a major accuracy challenge)
and The Three Gun Blast (a speedy tour de force). You don’t want to miss this chance to show both your speed and
accuracy—and maybe even win a coveted Sharpshooter Badge

Friday and Saturday feature an 11 stage Main Match with some of the most unique· and challenging targets around.
Enjoy a lip-smackin' Ice Cream Social on Friday afternoon as soon as shootin' is done. (Who doesn't like chocolate sauce and sprinkles?)

Along with Awards, Saturday evening delivers a fantastic, fully catered Dinner complete with side dishes and dessert.

Dust off them boots and saddle up, ‘cause the 31st Annual Shootout at Fort Miller is fixin’ to be the rootin’-tootin’est shindig this side of the Mississippi!

We’re hollerin’ from the rooftops that registration for the 2026 shoot out is officially OPEN! But listen here, space is tighter than a rattlesnake in a gopher hole—only 100 brave souls can sign up, so don’t dilly-dally or you’ll be cryin’ in your boots.

Mark them calendars: April 16–18, 2026. This ain’t just an event—it’s a must-attend hootenanny for every sharp-shooter and trailblazer out there.

We’ll be postin’ more details right here on this page as they mosey on in, but folks have been chompin’ at the bit already, so we’re kickin’ off sign-ups early.
