This event was created to focus on giving our lady shooters a chance to work on their shooting skills, in a women focused environment. We often have a chance to learn from the guys, but sometimes women just wanna learn and shoot with our fellow women shooters. With workshops focused on the unique needs of lady shooters, a Doily Gang clinic, and tips & tricks from some of our favorite SASS shooters- we want to give women shooters a great opportunity to fine tune their abilities and maybe learn something new. Fear not- our event has activities for our menfolk, and they will have their own posse’s for the WotW Shoot, so feel free to bring your fella.

Howdy all, my SASS name is GunHilda (nickname Hildie) SASS# 107360 I started Cowboy Action Shooting (CAS) in 2016. I’m no pro or even that great, but I love the sport and its people. While I can’t teach anyone how to be better at CAS, I can contribute by putting together an event like this for my fellow lady shooters to learn from those who can. Women of the West event is intended to give our lady shooters a chance to improve or enhance their shooting skills in a fun and friendly environment. We will have a 8 stage match (with separate posse’s for ladies and fellas) along with the classes and clinic, a potluck, campfires, and hopefully a lot of laughs together.

The Kings River Regulators in Clovis, California is hosting our Clinic and Shoot. Their range is located at 15687 Auberry Road, Clovis California, 93619. Home of the famous Ore Cart and Hell Town. Tentative Schedule: Thursday the 18th- we will have Check-In, our first classes and side matches in the afternoon. Friday the 19th- 4 stage match in the morning, classes/Doily Gang clinic in the afternoon, and a potluck dinner. Saturday the 20th – 4 stage match in the morning and classes in the afternoon. Dinner and awards in the evening. For those that would like to stay through Sunday the 21st- the King’s River Regulators invite any of our participants to shoot their monthly match for just 5 bucks.
